An Artist’s Approach
Fleming’s practice revolves around the development of formal languages, usually within the orbit of historical decorative arts.
He enjoys stretching the limits — on one hand, by executing a disciplined cabinet in the Biedermeier style and then proposing a sculptural piece using fragments of a chair inspired by Fluxus or Joseph Beuys.
Custom Work
While Fleming creates pieces for showcase in exhibition series and other editions, his driving passion is the work he creates for custom commissions within curated spaces for local and international clients.
