The looking glass is a necessary article of daily life that often gets passed by. The historical references applied to these examples include a modern version of an Empire convex mirror, complete with internal brass spheres. In some instances, the division of the mirror plate itself offers a reference to when mirror was precious and only available in small dimensions.
Completed pieces and works in progress utilize antiqued and tinted glass, plaster on steel, enamel and gilders clay on steel and patinated steel and wood frames which are often paired with suspension techniques featuring leather, cord and antique decorative chain.
